YAYYY! It looks great! How exciting it must be to see something you've worked so hard on be given a face. Congratulations. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is so much fun! And I am absolutely in love with the skunk. The same illustrator did him (and the Librarian on my new cover for Book One) as did Jemima Pett's Princelings covers--she is good!
DeleteWell, you kept that little secret! I had no idea when you sent me the preview that my favourite illustrator had done it :) I know she's trying to get into the games market, but she's a lovely cover illustrator!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to Thursday - and I've entered the giveaway too.
Well, you sent me her info, but I guess I never mentioned that she was doing these for me! Dani is both a good artist and great to work with--she managed to pull the right stuff out of my head with fast turn-around on a bunch of iterations. That Ninja shadow on the first book was her idea, and I love it!
DeleteYAY!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, I finally began reading your first book! I just need more access to our family ipad to be able to read it quickly. :)
Congratulations. I adore the cover.
Ha! I totally get you. My reading during our vacation was seriously curtailed by the fact that our boys glommed onto the Nooks (we'd even bought a second to reduce the clutter in the car) and didn't let go. Now we're back home I get my Nook back, and go back to worrying they don't read enough.
