Stinky and Stinklet are excited there are now three books all about them. (Shh! I haven't told them that the books are mostly about the people of Skunk Corners).

I've never met a skunk, but I did meet a raccoon on one of my early morning walks around the lake at Summer Camp in Wisconsin; I woke up in the desert near Mono Lake with a scorpion sheltering from the cold under my sleeping bag, and I once had a fairly close encounter with a bear when hiking in the Smoky Mountains. But I've never had a whiff of eau de skunk.
ReplyDeleteWow! After being in those places, I'm surprised about never having even smelled skunk! I once came home to find one in my carport. I slunk off and parked elsewhere :)
DeleteThere is a problem with the Amazons listing for the paperback, so I have provided a direct link. I am working on the problem; not sure how long it may take to fix :(
ReplyDelete"The excitement of opening a whole box of my books never grows old" That's so true - happy release day!

I've never met a skunk. Well not a REAL skunk. I'd say I've dated a couple, but that would be an insult to skunks.
ReplyDelete:o Yes, Big Al comes to that same conclusion about using "skunk" as an insult. It's an insult to the skunks, who can't help how they smell and are really beautiful animals.
